Tips for maintaining your pool

Tips for proper maintenance of your pool:

  • Remove whatever floats (eg leaves, twigs) in the pool with a special net. It is important to make an occasional cleaning to remove dirt on walls and floors. When you wipe the pool, start from the surface of the water and go to the floor.
  • Wipe any dirt or debris. The special cleaner operates as part of the filter and connected to the skimmer. The pool water with leaves and dirt sucked out of the broom and passes through the filtration system. The leaves and other sizable particles are retained in retaining basket, while the rest is removed from the sand filter.
  • Clean the spillway and place the pumps.
  • Check the pressure of the filter to determine if required backwashing or cleaning the print.
  • Check chlorine levels, pH and alkalinity. If necessary add the required amount of chlorine.
  • Every 12 months, assign a specialized company pools to make an analysis of the water.

Where required and after heavy use or heavy rainfall, disinfect the pool water, using a higher dose of chlorine (“super chlorinate” or “shock”).
